Contraindications for Botox Treatment

1. Allergy to Botulinum Toxin
   If you have a known allergy to botulinum toxin or any of the ingredients in the Botox formulation, you should not undergo treatment.

2. Active Skin Infections or Inflammation
   Botox should not be injected into areas with active skin conditions such as infections, rashes, or inflammation. This may increase the risk of complications or interfere with the treatment's effectiveness.

3. Neurological Conditions
   Individuals with certain neurological conditions, such as myasthenia gravis, Lambert-Eaton syndrome, or other conditions that affect neuromuscular function, may have an increased risk of complications. Botox affects nerve transmission, so these conditions could interfere with treatment.

4. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
   Botox has not been sufficiently studied in pregnant or breastfeeding women, and as a precaution, it is generally recommended to avoid Botox treatments during this time.

5. Severe Allergic Reactions to Injections
   If you have a history of severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) to any injectable medication, Botox may not be suitable for you.​
